At Bookyrslf, we strive to ensure a fair and reliable booking experience for both our Guests and Providers. Our cancellation policy is designed to protect both parties while maintaining a transparent platform operation. We encourage all Guests and Providers to carefully review the cancellation terms to fully understand the implications and procedures involved.
Cancellation Policy for Guests
Free Cancellation Window: You may cancel your booking without any charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the session.
Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session start time will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the session cost. This fee compensates the Provider for their time and lost booking opportunity.
No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a booked session without prior cancellation will result in a charge of the full session fee.
Extenuating Circumstances: We understand that unexpected events can occur. If you need to cancel due to emergency circumstances, please contact our customer support with the necessary documentation to discuss a possible waiver of cancellation fees.
Refunds: Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed automatically and returned to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
Rescheduling: You have the option to reschedule your session, subject to the provider's availability, up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time at no additional cost.
Provider Cancellations: If a provider cancels a session, you will be notified immediately and offered a full refund or an option to reschedule at your convenience.
Cancellation Policy for Providers
Notification Requirement: Providers must inform both the Guest and Bookyrslf as soon as possible if they need to cancel a scheduled session.
Cancellation Window: Providers are encouraged to cancel at least 72 hours in advance if absolutely necessary.
Consequences of Cancellation: Frequent cancellations may lead to a review of your status on the platform, potentially affecting your visibility and ranking.
Emergency Situations: If an emergency prevents you from fulfilling a scheduled session, please inform the platform immediately with appropriate documentation to avoid penalties.
Guest Compensation: In the event of a Provider-initiated cancellation, affected Guests will receive full refunds and assistance in booking an alternative session.
Communication with Guests: Providers should directly communicate with affected Guests to explain the situation and apologize for the inconvenience. If possible, suggest alternative dates or sessions.
