Overview

Required Gear: -Helmet (half shell or full face) -Body armour (knee pads​,​ elbow pads​,​ gloves) recommended -Preferably full suspension bike (hard tail suitable) -Front and rear breaks (please have serviced within the past year) -Comfortable clothing with flexibility -Water and lunch (snacks will be provided)What You Will Learn:  -Bike Control in the Air: Maintaining control of the bike's balance and alignment while airborne​,​ using body movements to adjust pitch and roll. -Landing Skills: Positioning your body and bike correctly to absorb the impact upon landing​,​ with knees bent and weight centred to minimize shock. -Stability and Balance: Keeping the bike steady and aligned during takeoff​,​ in the air​,​ and upon landing to ensure a smooth ride. -Jumping Lines and Angles: Selecting and navigating the optimal lines and angles for different types of jumps​,​ including tabletops​,​ doubles​,​ and gaps. -Braking and Speed Adjustment: Modulating speed and braking before and after jumps to maintain control and ensure a smooth transition through the jump. -Visualizing the Jump: Scanning and visualizing the jump and landing area beforehand to anticipate and prepare for the takeoff and landing. -Practice and Progression: Gradual progression in jump difficulty​,​ starting with small jumps and building up to more complex features as skills improve. **THERE WILL BE A REGISTERED NURSE ON SITE FOR THE DURATION OF THE CLINIC**

Requirements

  • Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Professional
  • 12-65 years old
  • -Snacks will be provided to keep you fuelled for the session.
    -Tools, floor pump and a stand will be there for any minor bike repairs.
    -Bring a spare tube, flat tires happen unexpectedly
    -Make sure your tires are inflated to 28-30PSI ( Recommended )
    -Wavers will be required and signed by each individual attending. Parent/Guardian signatures required if under the age of 18.
    -There will be a registered nurse on site for the day in case of any medical emergencys.

Meet in the parking lot at the Bible fellowship chapel

The location

Our group will meet in the parking lot and I will introduce myself as well as the everyone attending the clinic. I will give a brief explanation on what to expect for the duration of the day and what skills we will be starting with to build your confidence for progression.
